Lan Ha Bay

Located to the east of Cat Ba Island, Lan Ha Bay covers an area of more than 7,000 ha of which 5,400 ha is under the management of Cat Ba National Park.

In comparison to Halong Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay, Lan Ha Bay is least known, however, it is considered as one of the most beautiful bays in Vietnam. Autumn is the best time to visit Lan Ha Bay because the weather at this time is extremely beautiful with pleasant sunshine, cool breezes, and blue sky and ocean. Lan Ha Bay has 139 small golden and deserted sands alluring tourists to explore. The most famous attractions in Lan Ha Bay are Luon Cave, Van Gia Floating Fishing Village, Nam Cat Island, Monkey Island, Van Boi Beach, Rua Island, etc.
